This is a piece I did to experiment with using colored pencils. I did a base in mechanical pencil trying to map out the animals figures then outlined it in black sharpie marker, finalizing it all by blending colored pencils. Its like a typical oriental style image of a koi fish but with the addition of a bird giving it a ying and yang field of both worlds. Its a bit choppy to be honest but first time drawing a koi and the bird is just a mix of different pictures I was looking at.
